Acceptance and Platform Use
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the PlantedCollection platform, including the website, mobile applications, marketplace tools, and related services.
Creating an account requires explicit acceptance of the current terms. An account must retain current acceptance to create listings or make purchases.
PlantedCollection operates a marketplace where independent sellers offer plants. Listings identify the seller. Payments are facilitated through Stripe Connect; the legal characterization and responsibilities of the parties remain subject to applicable law.
Accounts, Buyers, and Sellers
Users must provide accurate account information and keep login credentials secure.
Buyers are responsible for reviewing listing details, seller terms, shipping restrictions, and order conditions before purchase.
Sellers are responsible for listing accuracy, plant identification, inventory, legality, packaging, shipping, refunds where required, customer support, taxes, and compliance with applicable laws.
Sellers may use buyer contact and shipping information only for fulfillment, transaction support, disputes, and related legal obligations, not unrelated marketing, resale, profiling, or off-platform solicitation.
Orders, Fees, and Disputes
Orders are transactions between buyers and sellers. Sellers remain responsible for fulfillment and order-related issues.
Droplets are scheduled live sales. Joining a Droplet requires a saved payment method, a complete shipping address, and express agreement that clicking Sold submits an immediate purchase. The first valid claim is subject to server confirmation and successful payment; a failed or expired payment claim may release the plant for another buyer.
Outliers are Holdback-voted auctions. At 300 unique Holdbacks, eligible listings enter a first-qualified queue. One auction runs at a time for 24 hours, starts at $50, and advances in $5 bids. Placing a bid authorizes PlantedCollection and Stripe to charge the bidder's saved payment method automatically if that bid wins. If a winning payment fails, the next eligible bid may be charged.
PlantedCollection may cancel or limit transactions, hold or reverse payouts, request verification, or remove listings when needed for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or platform protection.
Sellers remain responsible for applicable third-party payment-processing or shipping costs, chargebacks, negative balances, returns, refunds, and dispute outcomes tied to their conduct or listings. The current PlantedCollection marketplace seller fee is $0, and there is no advertising-fee program. Fee terms may change prospectively after appropriate notice and updated acceptance.
Nothing in these terms removes an obligation that applicable law independently places on PlantedCollection.
Prohibited Conduct and Liability
Users may not post unlawful, fraudulent, unsafe, infringing, misleading, or prohibited content or items.
The platform is provided as is and as available, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
PlantedCollection may suspend or terminate accounts, remove listings, or restrict access for safety, policy, fraud, legal, or operational reasons.
Users retain ownership of their content and grant PlantedCollection a nonexclusive license to host, display, resize, distribute, and share it as needed to operate and market the marketplace. Accounts that repeatedly infringe intellectual-property rights may be restricted after appropriate review.
